Formed by an English guitarist who moved to Canada in 1980 and set about forming a group in the style of the NWOBHM then sweeping his homeland, Genghis Khan recorded an LP in late summer ‘81. Painstakingly restored from the original reels, this is a stellar set of classic steel in the vein of Diamond Head, Angel Witch, and especially Di’Anno-era Maiden.
